IPC Student Connie Etter Featured In Indianapolis Monthly

The January issue of Indianapolis Monthly (click here to read article) features a story on venues that offer lessons or experiences to help you gain a skill.  Indy Photo Coach is featured as the venue for photography classes and lessons.  As an example of our students’ work, they chose Connie Etter’s photo, “Orange” (seen below).

Very nice work! How did you get the blue background to blend into the green so well?

Connie Etter takes the most brillant photos ever. She did my sister’s wedding photos and they were fantastic.

Thank you so much everyone! (Sharon, I had a super time taking your sisters wedding photos, I’m so thrilled you like them!) Carl and Joanne, thank you also for your compliment.

Carl, my secret..ok, not…haha…I had bought these Beautiful Orange Coneflowers and while they were still in their pot I moved them from location to location with in my yard until I got the perfect colors in the background. The blue was actually a dark purple but shows up blue. The green was a evergreen and there is a tad bit of orange on the left side of the photo- that was a Orange Day Lily.

Funny, I took this photo while I was going through my basic class with IPC. This was taken with my 75-300 4.5-4.6 lens.

    Thanks again for your compliments!
