The ratio for great sports images is: 1 part camera equipment, 3 parts photographer knowledge / anticipation.
Instructor Walt Kuhn is a professional sports photographer with years of experience shooting for the Indy 500 and Brickyard races, as well as multiple basketball, football, baseball and soccer organizations.
Learn on-location in a workshop focused on how to improve your sports photos with equipment you already own. Topics include: lighting, shutter speeds, sport-specific anticipation and of course, hands-on practice!
The sporting events we use for our hands-on teaching techniques will depend on the season. These may include: softball games, track tournaments, basketball games, soccer games, etc.
The concepts you learn can be applied to any sport. Our goal is to to help you see things differently and learn from instant feedback from the instructor.
